Super Typhoon Yolanda may have brought unthinkable damage as it gripped our country, claimed thousands of lives and left hundreds of families without a home for Christmas. But the indomitable human spirit and the outpour of support from all over the world gives our nation a glimmer of hope and restores our faith in humanity.

Inspired by the selfless acts of others, LezWorld, together with Origin8media in cooperation with Cinema2000 is proud to present: “Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita,” a one-time benefit screening for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. The film is a beautiful and brave coming-of-age tale about a 12-year old girl named Anita (Teri Malvar) who falls in love with a much older woman, Pilar (Angel Aquino).

One hundred percent of the proceeds of this event shall be donated to the Philippine Red Cross for the survivors in the typhoon devastated areas.

This event is made possible through the generosity of Pixeleyes Multimedia, CineFilipino and Ekweytormc in cooperation with Quiapost Productions.
