Goodbye Youthful Age, And Hello Aging Cream

Goodbye youthful age, and hello aging cream.

I am officially 23 years old, quite daunting to deal with the fact that another year comes with a wrinkle, which couldn’t wait to make my skin its home. At the same time, gaining an additional year is fulfilling because you are given another opportunity to make memories to laugh and to cry for with friends, family and loved ones. Last year was a roller coaster ride, plenty of ups and down scattered sparsely. Looking back, I am not sure how I survived those down times of my life. What is important now is that I learned from the experiences and these pieces of learning shall serve as signs for me to be careful this year.

I am grateful to everyone who remembered this special day and who took time to greet me. I also received a picture of a cake with my name on it, which was kind of thoughtful and sweet. Thank you for that. I am very happy to share this day with everyone, especially my loved ones and friends. Thank you once again for the greetings and gifts. I just have one tiny request though, I don’t mind receiving a birthday sex as a gift. You have 5 hours before my birthday ends. Haha. Just kidding.

Before I forget, the most important thing is I want to specially thank the Alpha and the Omega, the great person behind everything wonderful in this world, the one and only God, for giving me the gift of life. I am very aware of all the shortcomings that I have but then I  know that he knows I am struggling to become a good person. Despite my on-going trouble and fear regarding my sexuality, I always believe that he won’t cast me to hell just because I am attracted to women. I hope that soon, I will come into terms with my own rainbow skin.

I would like to end this, with a quote by Abraham Lincoln, “And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your year.”

I'm currently working in intensive care, where I handle most cases of post liver transplants and liver disease. Other than that, I like hanging out at the library, just being a total nerd all the time.
